If you like the idea of a Diploma that will open up a window on many rewarding careers and occupations, then this might be for you.
If you want to tackle academic subjects with a slant towards application in the ‘real world', then SHD will certainly offer you that.
What if I don't like it? Can I change my mind?
Yes, you can. SHD is all about flexibility and choice.
You can choose options to suit you, or combine the qualification with other GCSEs and A levels at Levels 2 and 3. You could even progress from SHD to an apprenticeship, or straight to A levels, or employment.
The important thing is that you'll be able to make decisions as you go along, and because you'll have a taster of four different work sectors, you'll be able to make an informed choice. Basically, it will help take the guess work out of what you might want to do in the future.
